THE TRUTH about TRUTH POST- GE-13: in THE ALLAH CONTROVERSY (MY LATEST BOOK on MALAYSIAN SOCIETY.)

THE TRUTH about TRUTH ... post GE-13
or the production of "truth-forced"

in 21st. century post-GE 13 Malaysia, truth does not exist except one produced via the crafting of falsehood by those who owns the means to produces such "truth-force" --  this is beyond the postmodern notion of truth as relative and multidimensional. "truth-force" ...

or in other words "Truth-forced" is a systematic way to take a quarter of truth and turn it into half truths, mixed it with a third of total falsehood and make it one whole truth and nothing but the truth, through the production of invented reality defended and designed by those who uses the ideological state apparatuses to engineer change and allow the evolution of systemic change to prevail ...

in the final analysis the transmutation of truth buries not only the core of truth itself but create a generation of human beings fed and fully-satisfied with packages of holistic matrix of truth and falsehood and even lies ...

so that the generation will not only believe in the dictates of the State, happy with its one-dimensionality, but also use its belief in falsehood to prosecute, en masse those speaking up for truth that is closer to the heart's desire and to the needs of the evolution of Humanity -- ar

THE "ALLAH" CONTROVERSY: WHY I WROTE IT.
by Azly Rahman

Drawn mainly from my column "Illuminations" in Malaysiakini, this is to be the first compilation in a series of essays on Malaysia in the age of change, complexity, competition, and chaos.

This first volume is called "The Allah Controversy and other essays on Malaysian hypermodernity." It contains products of my latest period of reflections on the society, framed from a world view I have lived in and familiar with.

The topics touched on issues such as the ongoing linguistic controversy surrounding the use of the term"Allah" in the Bahasa Melayu version of the Bible, the state of affairs as Malaysia approaches a most exciting general elections, the fate of the ruling party and UMNO, education of the children of the "stateless Malaysians of Tamil origin,", Biro Tata Negara as a master indoctrinator and promoter of divisive politics, politics and philosophy of science in our development plan, on the issue of mother-tongue language, cognition and educational progress, the notion of a "successful failure" in our schooling system such as in the MARA schools, and a range of other topics framed from a "hybridic, heteroglossic, and hypertextualized" perspective with a good dose of contemporary cultural, political-economic, and informational theories alluded to.

These pieces of writing represent my commitment to looking at society in newer ways and to offer novel perspectives that policy-makers and opinion leaders can use. They are mildly academic in nature but accessible as well to anyone who wish to read about Malaysian issues written in "newer language"; from a hybrid view drawn from the fields of anthropology, philosophy, political science, education, history, literature, and cybernetics. In short this volume manifests itself kaleidoscopically.

I believe the volume will be helpful to many who wish to understand the complexity of how Malaysia has evolved and how the interplay between culture, technology, capitalism, and consciousness has created an interesting socio-political and cybernetic-existentialist terrain as a consequence of this country's fast-paced progress that plunged us into the realm of "hyper-modernization". I hope readers will enjoy these essays and have conversations with the ideas in the most critical manner, as these essays hoped to provoke.

Sincerely,

Azly Rahman.

The elephant in the room which we in Malaysia refuse to acknowledge is the raging debate about the existence of god. We are digging our heads into the sands (afraid of it being cut off?) blissfully ignoring Dawkins, Hitchens or Harris out there.
If Malays are not going to address all this how are we going to deal with the really important issues like, pollution, depletion of the earth's resources and destruction of the environment?
Worries about how to pray, what you cant eat and what to wear are just too childish!!!..yes that is where we are today..
Why just talk about use of terms or language? God itself maybe obsolete!
