scattered petals ... beautiful still

ahh ... beautiful flowers
some scattered in pieces
some standing firm
beautiful they are
they make the ground alive
like endless motifs of an ancient carpet
designs without end
without beginning
beget you will not
begotten you have not been
... ahh ... scattered petals
a hundred and fourteen pieces they ought to be
more than six thousand pieces they shall fragment into
come the seventh day of mercy that hadth come a visitin'
beautiful you are --- the flowers that stand still
you are the guardian of the loved one that hath bestowed upon you
love as eternal as the dissipating of the petals
as they dissipate and become seeds of
more beauty to come
as beauty begets truth
truth begotten by the love of all things beautiful
how fragrant you are
- flowers, the fresh earth, the verses that serenade a goodbye
petals however fragments you are
as fragrant as sacred words left unspoken
as fragrant as truth left unshaken
i am that beautiful flower standing still
serenading the one and many
ahhh ... beautiful flowers on the ground
each scattered petal smiling
as if truth hadth come
as beauty unfolding
