America is paying its price as a consequence of privatization, especially in the health care industry. Developing nations wishing to emulate the model of services that will maximize profit should study the consequence of privatization or maximum-profitization.
As in her prison industrial complex, the United States health care system is part of an ideology of free-enterprise that preys upon the human condition. The poor and the powerless will always be at the losing end of the deal denied of the basic human rights; food, shelter, clothing, and health care.
Study what a "sicko" nation is, as American film-maker Michael Moore calls it:
Or, will a heart in India be cheaper?

I have to totally agree with you on this. After watching Sicko, I've learned that even the "evil communist" Cuba has universal health care. My sister was reduced to tears when she saw the scene whereby the Cuban pharmacist told them that her inhaler costs $0.05 compared to $120 in America.
Although it is not apparent, the health & well-being of citizens of a nation is very vital in terms of the generating the nation's economy in the long run. Socialized medicine? More like capitalist plundering to me.
They are only concerned about the poor people. How about the middle class people?? Can they afford the fees when Sime takes over? Obviously they will try to squeeze the middle class to subsidize the poor. I doubt rich people will go to IJN since they can afford other private hospitals or even overseas. In short, the only available heart operation option for middle income group will vanish when Sime takes over.
i guess capitalism play it part well...
now i question my self the true meaning of free world....
