sorry this is not a comment about your speech at harvard...
ive just read your most interesting article...obama for putra jaya...
wouldnt that we wonderful azly..to come away from race-based politics...
im so sick and tired of the crap that goes on...every bit of news just makes our land more of a international laughing stock...
makes me cringe...what the authorities do...and the shinanigans the lawmakers and civil servants get up...
all this makes mugabe look a true saint!!!
yes Obama for putra jaya...
yes it would be a wonderful dream come true...
but alas...maybe not in my lifetime!!!

ok..now i have watched your vid filmed at harvard on freedom...
i hope and pray that these invaluable nuggets that u sow on the gen Y audience will help grow & flourish acting both as weed killer as well as manure for our nations future...
to eradicate the negative sentiments of superiority and dominance of one race/sect/religion over another..
while also allowing all rakyat to embrace the freedom that u talk about..exercising their new found rights responsibly...
it is a sad state of affairs the malaysian scene...in shakespearean terms..both a comedy and a tragedy...
theres much that we can all do to change that...
and referring to your obama article...MALAYSIA TOO NEEDS THAT CHANGE...
as expected that will not be an easy task...bringing much desired CHANGE...
the wounded UMNO beast will thrash and spit in its corner...fighting for its life...while the other component parties wait in the aisles...either to go in for the kill macam hyenas...
or quickly jump ship to the winning side...
BN r in a morbid way exercising their FREEDOM...the freedom to dominate...the freedom to abuse...the freedom to make money politics their modus operandi..
unless and until the rakyat strip down the layers of racist and fascist ideologies smothered on us over decades and realise that:
1. we NEED each other to survive; and
2. theres plenty for everyone to SHARE in the wealth and future of the new nation...
there will be no peace...
what it needs is for us malaysians to dig deep into our core...to uncover the true essence of our being...
that we r all the same under all that difference of colour and creed...
we have the freedom to do that...
but will real freedom come freely?
i have my doubts....
