The best modern leader I have ever read about: Jose' Mujica

His dressing in the first photoshot did not “rattle” my attention, rather I’m still thinking he dressed ruggedly as in casual smart. He looks charismatic and definitely unpretentious, all set to do some serious works as fast and furious as his mind dictates and time restraints. He truly breaks the convention of the norm characteristics of political leaders with power, arrogance and grandiosity though the masses in the nation live in hardship. And he chooses to do farming which is exceedingly hard work, humble yet it escapes the recognition despite it is really crucial… everyone needs fresh food products especially kangkong ( so tasty when fried with sambal belachan, it is ok to be associated with the tasty ingredient, mildly, it is not, now you see, now you don’t : BELA – CHAN, it might be banned after this ).

In fact prices for ALL daily products for the ordinary people should not be raised.

AND he has a most lovely First Lady who makes as incredible sacrifices as he does, Together, literally living with the people and experiencing their hardships in real time. Let’s hope the President would invite Prof. Paul Collier to bring some of his young brilliant students to assist him and the nation.
However, there are foreseeable huge concerns which may cause another round of catastrophic issues to human lives from the recreational use of substance. There could be also be addressed.

Thank you Dr. Azly for sharing with us about the remarkable President. I’m being reminded of another outstanding President who has an awesome integrity to the extent of pressing charges against one of her own sons. She is the Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as well as the Nobel Peace Prize Winner of 2011.
Both the remarkable, humble leaders were previously incarcerated for their struggles for the people. Both make positive radical changes and will their minds and hearts to walk the talks. Some food for thought.

Kind of a brand new leadership taking the world by storm to bring massive hopes and fast sustainable solutions directly to the ordinary people, to alleviate their economics struggles, discrimination, hardcore poverty, to administer with frugality and integrity, leading by example….breaking elitism, breaking capitalism; must disallow one or two owners from franchising beyond three outlets….and prohibit food outlets in KL from using tablets to take food orders … depriving human beings of jobs ( dignity ) to earn a decent living to support their families. (??!) More interested in making huge profits. The owners are more interested in making huge profits. The use of tablets should only be allowed during festive holidays or….

Many true Malaysians are unemployed…it is unbeliveable… the abled pakcik, ah pek, ah soh, ayah can’t take food orders ( ?? )Some bluffing is going on that foreign workers are needed as it is difficult to train them to take food orders (??)

Pasar malam suddenly needs to be closed down (?) Condominium residents and residents in posh areas need to understand that lives intertwine and interlink with the ordinary people. To drastically reduce social probems arising from unemployment. Assist the pasar malam traders instead, both ways; they just want to earn a living, though they would have to slog for many weeks, maybe a few months to earn a four to five figure wages, most likely, the latter is unlikely.

Massive things must be made accountable and right by the People and their elected representatives.

This is off tangent, Dr. Azly, do you think the local council in the respective communities in the US will allow the elderly to earn some income by allowing them to let out their rooms to tourists – a safe, clean and cheap accommodation ? Say 15 days in a month max ? With fuss free legality and part - time council staff in ensuring that both parties are safe.

Thank you.
