NOTES on a KANGKUNG GOVERNMENT: Warta kerajaan kangkung

GOOD MORNING
RAKYAT KERAJAAN KANGKUNG ...
1Malaysia 1Kangkung

"kerajaan kangkung"?
kak kak kah
har har har
wakaka ...

woke up this morning to tons of kangkung trending on my timeline
what is happening to this government folks?
should write a piece on the "semiotics of kangkong-ism"
and its relationship the the political-economy of the kangkong industry and how the globalization of the vegetable-ness of the kangkong ...

or the appeasement of the masses through the perceived benevolence of a kangkong regime ... something like these .. to make the simple complex and the complex simple ... "

but seriously, don't we all love the kangkung -- that valuable or "value-veggie"? it was reportedly requested by Hang Tuah and his band of merry robots, for dinner in the court of the emperor of the Ming Dynasty as a ploy to look at the face of the emperor (otherwise forbidden and subject to beheaded-ment if one even dare get a glimpse,) ...

lucky hang tuah ..
"bertuah hang tuah ... "

(that 's what the malays ... johoreans in this case ... would say to their children ... "bertuah anak aku ni ... what a gift/blessing my son/daughter is ...if they misbehave, rather than curse the child with gangsta rapping words that should have also been banned, like 40 words banned by the religiously-ridiculous authorities ...

anyways ...

they ate the kangkong by lifting each piece and swallowing them, (like eating Maggie mee in a dormitory room in some kibbutz-ashram somewhere in kuantan ... ) and they got to see the emperor's face ..

and guess who the Chinese emperor looked like as reported by Hang Tuah?
JACKIE CHAN !

but i prefer the version that
because they ate kangkong,
they saw the face of king kong ...
and that's probably how the town in johor "kong kong"
got it's name ... what a story of globalization!

SELAMATKAN KERAJAAN KANGKONG HENDAKNYA .... ameen -- ar

The exclusiveness of Allah is also mindboggling to my young Arab Muslim friends. It baffles them how is that mineral water (?!) and too many conceivable products have to be halalised now in Malaysia and not decades ago? To them there are only three obvious haram including corruption, stealing, oppressing fellow human beings, stripping off their rights to earn a decent livelihood, their rights to have freedom to have their own faith -without compulsion as in Islam. In the soonest time, the phantom voters will also demand the exclusiveness of bumiputra-ship based on religion. Hence Malays will lose out more, Malaysia will lose its priceless sparks and the synergy of its harmonious multiracial Malaysians because of certain politicians who are in pursuit of insatiable exclusiveness of race, religion, racial hatred, etc. to shift the focus away from their perpetual corruption and mismanagements.

Notwithstanding, to paraphrase Khaled Hosseini’s deeply moving graphic novel, The Kite Runner which ends profoundly tender, “ For you, a thousand times over !” Reaching the final page, the tears will trickle down as the analytical mindness breaks when humanity suffers. I believe in this passage of critical time, many good Muslims in Malaysia will choose to move out from their comfort zone to reciprocate immensely the goodwill they have had studying in mission schools, as for the younger generation of good Muslims, with the inherent of good DNA will also right the wrongs which are staring starkly day in day out and do a hundred times over of good deeds earnestly ( not seeking the publicity or the blessings end in the publicity itself ) to truly include the non- Malays as well, especially those from families facing hardships, beginning in their immediate neighborhood ... to show they have the true understanding of Allah, His unquenchable compassion, mercy and righteousness to all human beings.

Having heard that in the 2011 World Economic Forum ( WEF) in Davos, everyone in the convention had tears in their eyes at some point, being overwhelmed by the human sufferings – unemployment of the young, the insurmountable political and the economics issues plaguing their respective countries and worldwide. And Professor Schwab mentioned that the answers to the problems will emerge from the faith community of Christians, Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists. Each is strong in one’s faith to be active doer of goodwill. . If not, what is one’s faith, this writer is reflecting upon himself. So why the continuous fighting, wag the dogs aka manipulation and distortion when logistics, the brains from Pakatan should have been absorbed into the Government Cabinet, fresh innovations from Malaysians abroad and in homeground and the limited resources should have been intensified to solve our nation’s problems including the generational debts inflicting the future generations – no fault of them but us especially those who choose to be indoctrinated by the idiot box / flat screen – for some, one will leave the priceless brains and good character for a wealthy brawn but no brains so count it soo lucky - not a tiny bit of loss.

HE can’t be contained in exclusiveness, the phenomenal excitement is that we can’t never fathom His seamless mercy and Grace to all human beings, He can never fail those who place their faith in Him for good things, far greater things to happen, whilst working in sheer determination, taking small steps to look beyond self, to assist someone, then decisively take bigger steps and allow to be transformed in the hearts and minds to be better human beings -doers to portray His attributes. Inevitably too many, including Malays and cross - pollinated Malays ( abroad and in the nation ) might have wondered , “ Why, why why, does it have to add the prefix – Non to Malay and Muslim so frequently when addressing fellow Malaysians in Malaysia ? …… flabbergasted… uncool, brittle.. closed minded in the Bolehland anaconda farm.

Dear Dr. Azly, don't kita Malaysians really miss kangkong with belacan, crispy tandoori chicken, kailan ... my good Chinese friends are just legendary generous when it comes to belanja makan sedap- sedap, kalah stingy mat sallehs when it comes to treating others to meals; they say how much can ones eat.
