Salaam, Shaloom Gaza

Salaam, Shaloom Gaza

i woke up from a slumber
my mind wandering in search of an explanation asunder
of this world Man inhabits
one torn to pieces in some places some blown into tiny bits

missiles
missiles
tens of thousands way too many
Man have created to keep the world in perpetual harmony
politics is real as they call it realpolitik
in a world the doomsday clock will soon no longer tick

where is god of reason and good judgement
that has allowed the birth of innocent children
only to drown them in a world of missiles and utter confusion
whilst Man worship differing gods that sanction evil for different reason

where art thou divine intervention?
in hiroshima and nagasaki
in war missile-ravaged killing fields of all nations?
did thouest leave thine creation to slaughter each other -- for what reason?
build bombs not bread
and name them to glorify love of life instead
we have tomahawk and pershings
and Fajar-5 and perhaps salaaam beijing
and why not ar-rahman ar-rahim
what hath become of Man
the ape in its planets they call primates and need to be tamed
but instead wherein lie the promise of creation
for Man to triumph over the forces of destruction?
where is religion
that is supposed to discipline nations
instead to sanctify killings in mega-death sadism
where is Love of the womb of the ar-Rahim
this supposed to shield the face of the child blown to pieces
by the bombings that sing like hymns
i do not know if evil will forever triumph
or the Ultimate Good has lost this great war of rakshashas and demons
i woke up from this slumber
sound of missiles ringing in my ear
it is dusk
it is dawn
i cannot remember
the skies loud and clear
calls of peace
calls to prayer i could hear
of clones of Drones
and Tomahawks and Fajar-5
of blown to pieces of faces of children
and mothers crying with blood in their tears

Salaam, Shaloom, Gaza!
God love us all ...
I shall go back to sleep
and start counting sheep
while the Earth now is inherited and destroyed
by the meek
