everlasting spring

you have come to visit
on the seventh day
on the fourteenth day
and again on the twenty-first day
at times smiling
at times just watching with care and love
love reign supreme
because -- you are love
of which i shall give back-- daily
each thought like a smile

from a heart rejoicing
each flower blooming
in an everlasting spring
