like a revelation,
poetry cometh
a flowing river a soul it is,
to recapture
a memory,
a moment,
a metaphor,
a metamorphosis
a mangled vision
unlike a revelation
poetry cometh not
from a strange voice above
seemingly a divine decree
grandiose made to be
but from the voice within
a deafening silent scream
of consciousness
no god would hear
but of sheer simplicity
of an idea yearning to be free
and when wings grow on it
words and verses may reveal hidden mysteries
just like a simple verse : "i and thou/must we be in "it" eternally?"
