Lovely is the color red
of blood
anger that spread like wildfire
a fire that begins in the heart
a vibrating, pulsating soul that awaits a world outside
to be explored in all its sinfulness and solitude
a joy of a revolution of a march of a 10,000 miles
a thousand smiles of children of hunger's cries

of my joy unfathomed
a tree bearing the leaves of a redness of artwork set ablazed
leaves like sparks of passion
of a symphony of a tempestuous night
of a thousand lightnings gone mad
a grandiose of that final note no one could hear
Lovely is the color red
of that tree I sit under
with eyes closed
a thousand leaves fall
each is a drop of rain that sparks
memories of a life
so red
so blue
so black
so white
so true
a rainbow and of overpowering redness is the plot
of the story of life
a plot of land of fertile redness
each a postscript
a sign whose time has come
each sign a seed of joy
for a world in need of the redness
of a revolution
of blood
of sparks
of lightning
of a passion
of a long march of redness of another 10,000 miles
