The shrine in me

Comes a time
yesterday
today
days ahead
Like a whirling dervish
... Like the prince under a bodhgaya tree
Like the kings of kings wandering still
I will
Circumambulate that shrine unseen
seven times aplenty
across seven seas
across seven heavens no one has ever seen
alone I will be seen
walking in trance
in thought
in tranquility
From the dawn of man
till the dusk of divinity
I shall go around in circles
till the shrine in me
becomes larger than Time and Space collapsing
larger than even souls and memories congregating
till the shrine in me explodes like that day
the universe becomes it
as the it journeys into the Thou
bringing along thee
I shall circumambulate that shrine
With every step I make
every breath I take
will each dust be sprinkled like a sound
in each mantra
I shall circumnavigate
that shrine
that heart of mine ....

I've started floating in the air upon reading this poem of beauty when suddenly i felt I was grabbed and pushed down to the ground! that's the aftereffect on reading Wintermute's comment...!

Anonymous @ 4:38AM - Here we witness a classic example of the difference between healthy and unhealthy egos. Azly's ego celebrates its own expansive glory and innate divinity; while Wintermute's comment expresses only a reductionist negativity tinged with covert envy of Azly's exuberance. One uplifts, the other brings down. Each of us constantly has to choose between being the Cure or the Disease.

Even the nick "Wintermute" carries a somewhat desolate vibration.
