We both know why.
Your opting for a non - Malay PM in Malaysia over a member of the race whose ancestral land it is, may seem at first blush an irrational choice, but you and I know better.
As a left/liberal academic, you know what type of racial/cultural thought raises your social status in the jaundiced Semitic eyes of Multiculturalism (viz., the defence of ethnic minorities) and what type of such thought lowers your status( viz., the defence of your own Malay racial cognates).
Sadly, Dr Azly, you are a status - seeker and will doubtless make the obvious,status - raising, treasonous choice.
whout about someone born in this country after a few generations but still cant speak the damn language. would he or she qualify?
