The rakyat awaits your homecoming, a candlelight vigil will adorn the street in front of the prison-industrial complex built by those who designed architecture of structural-violence, unseen by the naked eyes of the rakyat. Like the candles that await Sita Devi and like the candle-lights that bathes Jelaluddin Rumi, the light from the rakyat soothes and calms your bruised spirit in their patient wait for your freedom.

To be, or not to be: that is the question:

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd.

--- from William Shakespeare, Hamlet

Saudara RPK,

I hope they are treating you well, in this holy month of Ramadhan that is turning our nation into our Ramallah.

I write in a state of being free while you languish in sadness incarcerated by those in their dying days breathing painfully.

They say that you are anti-Islam and anti-government. The are wrong on both counts. You are a great defender not only of Islam but of other faiths. You are a great defender of a sane government yet to be installed and one that will gladly set you free.

They are fearing not you nor the voices of conscience no longer in the wilderness; they are fearing themselves – their Inner Self – that they are answering to in their scramble to satisfy their greed for material wealth and lust for power.

They have not made you a bankrupt, RPK. They themselves are drowned in riches that will bury them.

Sdr. RPK. I hope your incarceration will be the brief. So too will be of the others.

The rakyat feels that the present government will not be the one freeing you. A new one will.

Below I reproduce a tribute to you I wrote sometime ago.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is so much sadness in our nation as we bemoan the imprisonment of a voice of conscience manifested in this individual called Raja Petra Kamaruddin.

There is so much anger in our consciousness as we wonder what justice denied can do to us as we see the rot in our cultural values and political lives -- right in front of our eyes, feasted through the media.

Raja Petra is seeking deep in his inner self and journeying deep into the archeology of his consciousness and into the history of his self and his ancestors, seeking solace and guidance in what next to be done in this world in which the self argues and revolts against systems of oppression. His psyche and the journey of his soul perhaps bring him to a hill in Melaka some several centuries ago -- a place where the legendary philosopher-king and the Bugis warrior stood on a hill riddled with bullets from the advancing Dutch colonials. Raja Haji died standing .

Raja Petra is a gifted human being who is showing us what Henry David Thoreau, the American transcendentalist, spoke about "civil disobedience. He is what the philosopher Karl Jaspers reminded us of the urge to disobey and ideology that has become corrupt to the core and has employed the state apparatuses to silence those who speak truth to power.

Raja Petra is what Che Guevara means to Malaysians, a gung-ho revolutioner whose interest in motorcycles helped him craft his own hugely successful "motorcycle diaries" and helped him symbolize and embody the free-wheeling spirit of Americanism of the "Easy Rider era".

Raja Petra is the symbol of the yearning in us to break free and to let out these "screams of consciousness" so that we may learn to understand better what actually is the problem with this nation that needs therapy as a consequence of its obsession with law and order it creates and it destroys. It is the Brahma-Shiva-Vishnu of politics that we are seeing at play in the cosmic cycle, this karma of Malaysian politics that is meeting its end of the yuga as consequences to the production of many duryodanas (Durjanas) in the process of birth and rebirth.

Raja Petra is a Bugis warrior who installs kings and umpires and players in this game of politics we all are asked to play for fifty years. He make us conscious of the complexities of power relations, the roles of individuals in installing ideologies, the power of institutions in designing "inscriptions that alienate people" and helps us understand the nature of Malaysia's interlocking directorates -- of who owns what and what are the consequences of these.

Raja Petra is a commander-in-chief of a movement that exists in cyberspace and orchestrates the powerful dialogues that send shivers to the spines of those who cheats in this political game.

Raja Petra has shown us what jihad means and how we must carry on this revolution to its final destiny -- a republic of virtue in which philosophy reigns supreme over ideology, whatever the ideology may be.

Raja Petra will be out soon, to carry on the revolution in the consciousness of men and women -- a perpetual revolution that forces us to look at ourselves as historical beings and wonder "what have we done to make this country as it is in which justice is denied, delayed, and dictated by the few."

But there will always be Divine Justice, if one believes in the power of the Divine -- in a Just God and God of Mercy and Compassionate who works in mysterious ways and one who works through the agency called human beings -- that will make things end well, even if all is not well in the beginning of things.

"Man proposes God disposes", many have said. In us all, in the humiliation wrought upon this human being called Raja Petra and in the imprisonment of this voice of conscience, lies the mystery of revelation of justice. We shall see what lies ahead. We must, however continue to become makers of history -- to protest either silently or out loud either in solitude or with others in pomp and pageantry, protest we must as we are essentially human beings born free with natural rights endowed by the Creator. Borrowing Rousseau, we believe that "Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains..."

Protest we must. Investigate we must too. Demands we will orchestrate in order to have corrupt men and women, powers abusers amongst us, and swindling robber-barons amidst us to be brought to justice in the court of law that shall be governed by the people, through the will of the rakyat.

A grandchild of that Bugis warrior prince, a philosopher-ruler, better that many a prince Machiavelli pays tribute to-- you are a voice of conscience and you shall be free. Free at last.. free at last...

Hang in there, RPK. This is your bohemian rhapsody.

Hang in there for a few days, weeks, Saudara RPK.

This is my humble gift to thee. May these words renew your spirit.

And the rakyat will not take it to the streets either. They will stay home and watch the soap opera on race and religion played to an audience of none. They will wait and see which government will set you free.

Here is Shakespeare's piece for thee, in its entirety:

To be, or not to be (from Hamlet 3/1)

To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action. - Soft you now!
The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons

Be all my sins remember'd.

IN HONOR OF RPK, TERESA KOK, AND ALL THOSE DETAINED INDEFINITELY, PLEASE POST APPROPRIATE COMMENTS ONLY; COMMENTS CALLING FOR PEACE AND CALM IN TIMES OF MANUFACTURED CHAOS.

RPK AND THOSE DETAINED WOULD APPRECIATE THIS, I AM SURE. MAY GOD SAVE THIS NATION AND INSTALL JUSTICE AND EQUALITY FOR ALL RACES.

STAY CALM, BE UNITED IN DIVERSITY --- THE ISSUE IS NEITHER RACE NOR RELIGION. IT IS ABOUT A PEACEFUL TRANSITION OF POWER AND THE DECONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNAL POLITICS.

Good men to suffer so that thieves, liars and murderers prosper.
How did that come to be?

It did not just happen, it was man made.

RPK, I have had little faith in Royalty until I got to know you! You are by far a prince amongst us, commoners not by virtue of birth but by virtue of your beliefs and committment to the truth and the people of Malaysia! You have opened up our eyes to true racial unity and the new Malaysia which we so long for.

Rest assure, your sacrifice will not be in vain. You have the prayer of a Nation behind you... for you are true Royalty to the people - Raja Rakyat!

God Bless You

Will 916/917 come true? Malaysians and the world awaits. If it comes true, Anwar Ibrahim will have worked a MIRACLE, halleluya, amin.
It is difficult, no doubt, to believe that the present batch of bn MPs, incubated in a cradle of corruption, will have the principles and courage to jump. But jump they must, otherwise they will have to answer to their future generations and GOD.

The Rakyat (People's) anger towards the BN/Umno regime can be channelled constructively by getting people to stay at home with their families and pray together for God to Deliver Malaysia from the tyranny of the Evil BN/Umno regime. If every Malaysian irrespective of race or religion cries out to God with one voice, the same God who can move mountains will move the Evil BN/Umno regime away from our lives and set the Captives (ISA Detainee's) free. This Scribe feels that the Trade Unions in Malaysia such as Cuepacs, MTUC, NUTP etc can lead the way in starting a Hartal. If Pakatan Rakyat in unable to dislodge the Evil BN/Umno regime from power on September 16, 2008, let September 20, 2008 be the day set for Hartal...More http://margeemar.blogspot.com

Dear Azly Rahman,

I have never prayed for Malaysia, actually its been a long time since I ever prayed for anything at all.... but in the month of May this year I got a baby boy, my first child... this changed a lot in me. I started praying after a long time.

And now watching things unfold in Malaysia, for the first time I am compelled to start praying for the nation too. Probably only God can understand the extent of greed for wealth and power that can manifest in Man that he would do anything beyond the imagination of common people to retain their power and wealth, as in the case of the present Gov't. I will start praying for this beloved nation of mine, praying for all those under ISA, praying for the future of my child, praying for the future of all children, that they will inherit a nation less corrupt, less infested by greedy politicians.

However, I also realize that faith and prayer alone without action is dead.... Hence, I have made up my mind that, I am going to invest more of my money and time to play whatever little part I can to assist in my prayers coming true.

Finally, I hope that you and others like you will keep Malaysia-Today burning with the kind of information, the truth that the present Gov't tries very hard to keep hidden from public knowledge..... please assist in keeping Malaysia-Today the thorn in the flesh of the Gov't always and keep that will keep RPK present here always.

I've been an avid follower of MT for sometime. But there are sometings about the comments that i don't understand.

Most generalise the mood on the ground. That is just weird. Cos it doesn't seem to tally. I work in a malay company, and the wife is with a branch of the govt (she's just a low level lackey).

What i hear is that these malays, most educated up to SPM and some degree holders, are unsure of the future. They support DSAI, but are wary of PKR. Deep down they fear that DSAI may sell out the Malays, but becos they are unhappy with UMNO, they will support him DSAI. On the other hand, ask 'em about with party they would affiliate with, most would say PAS rather than PKR.

That is what confuses me. They love the man but not the party.

Most of them, though they want changes to take place, still talk about the perceived oppression by chinese bosses. HSBC malaysia admits that it conducted a study whereby it found that malay males are tardy and more susceptible to disciplinary infractions. It is unwritten, but they would rather not hire malay males. Stereotyping? Dunno la, that's what some HSBC dudes tell me.

I don't think we would be truly integrated in my generation. In my child's generations, the barriers that we have slowly broken down will crumble even more. Maybe in grand kid's days.

I read the comments here, about how the malays feel. But i dunno why, when it comes to unity, it doesn;t reflect the reality out there.

We live together in the same country. But don't kid yourself into thinking that we are integrated.

Malays: You will always complain about your chinese bosses and how he discriminates against you. Don't lie and say you;ve never done that.

Chinese: You'll always look down on the malays.

Deep down inside. You know my words are true. Go to the kampungs and ask. Go to the villages. What do they really think about the other people living here.

Not a dream. Not trying to incite. But just calling a spade a spade. Ideas on how we can change this? I propose that same race marriages be outlawed. Anyone can think of a better idea to ONE HUNDRED PERCENT get rid of our racial sentiments?

When Chinese is spoken, Malays and other non-Malays who have not learned the language will hear it as SOUND or worse still; NOISE. So, for those Malays who have not learned English, the language when spoken will come as unintelligible sound or worse still; noise. The Arabic language whether spoken or uttered in the form of prayers will always be sound or worse still; NOISE.
This is reason why the Malay dictionary littered with too many unintelligible English sounding ‘NOISY’ words will never do the Malays any good intellectually!!!

Let us all stand out and stand together in the blogs not on the street and sent out our signals to the archaic Government machinery to stop all the nuisance and the evil ploys of using ISA to intimidate ALL of us! WE all know this is their desperate endeavor to suppress us, to subservience us to accomplish their egos and the evil objective of power grip, the evil objective of their deterrent of dissidents!

Yeas, WE admit we are dissidents, WE are peaceful, WE have trust in God, WE uphold the omnipresent and universal Truths as our Principles! WE are dissidents but WE are NO CRIMINALS! Dissidents are No Criminals!!! The draconian and uncivilized ISA can break our bones but it cannot break our Spirit, it cannot break our Belief In the Truths that we uphold altogether!!!!!!!!!

RAJA PETRA KAMARUDIN, RPK or PETE in one name is the Chief of Dissidents and HE is NO CRIMINAL, He is NO TERRORIST, HE spoke nothing but the Truths, the Truths that we all trust and believe!! WE use our ears, our eyes, our hearts to affirm that what are the Truths! HE did not deserve to be shackled by the rusty ISA! HE is not threatening our so-called harmony, unity or social security and no one because of trusting him go up to the streets to burn effigies, to hurl Molotov Cocktail, to surround the Parliament, to even trample on one tiny strip of the cow grass! HE and WE are intellectual people, peaceful and not the mobs, we are not like those who brandish the kris, who break in private hall and rant and rave in public!! WE pose no harm to the Society, to the Nation and merely exercise our rights, our civic conscious to rectify the Government when swaying away from policies and rule of law universally reckoned with - FREEDOM, JUSTICE, DEMOCRACY are what WE are asking for! It's the Social Contract and it's Our Rights! RELEASE RPK NOW! It's a reckless attempt You People locked up His Body but His Spirit is still with all of us!!!! smilies/shocked.gif

Dear All Peace Loving God Fearing Malaysians,
I remember a few years back when PAS branded UMNO members as 'unbelievers', and I thought that was really excessive. But after all these years under UMNO rule, I think the name 'unbelievers' is a not only fair but it also describes Umno perfectly. Their actions / policies in over 22 years under their 'god' TDM and now their 'imam', AAB, made me realize that Umno is actually a party of devil worshipers. Here's why:
1. They have no fear whatsoever of God and its retribution
2. They do not believe death and the judgment day
3. They lie, cheat and steal
4. They swear in the name of God to get away with anything.
5. They do not propagate good virtues and peace.
6. They instigate hatred
7. They promote prejudice and bigotry
8. They worship money, power and positions
9. They use religion and race for personal gain
10. They perform religious rituals as a pretense to the public and for fun
11. They are hypocrites, say one thing and do the opposite
12. They oppress they weak and the poor

No religion in the world teaches us to hate, kill, abuse, lie, steal or oppress, except the religion of UMNO. And we are all obligated to end this tyranny.

He did it by actions and deeds. He fights against CORRUPTIONS ! HE Fouught against INJUSTICE! He fought against ABUSE OF POWER! He fought against HIPOCRYTES AND LIARS! He foought for freedom of worship and expression. He did not pretend to be what he is not. He knows that he is a sinner and only answerable to God. Do you still think that he is against Islam? Dear Ma Azman.

There is some truth in what you have said. I wish to give my views on the subject and hope that it will be taken with an open mind.

No prospective employer will actually want to employ any person who generally suffers from a lack of confidence, who doesn't want to work as hard as he should, and still want things to happen their way. That is, those with attitude problems.

It has nothing to do with race but if you feel that it is happening to the Malays, don't blame the employers. Just blame it
on UMNO because it was the UMNO government which have groomed and made many Malays this way for the past 51 years! They have made the general Malays a protected species and as a result of providing too much crutches (ironically even admitted by former PM Mahathir) and protection, they have made many Malays uncompetitive in the everchanging and demanding work environment.

Unfortunately, the same bad thing had also happened to our education system. The only difference now and then is that many Malays have now recognized and realized their predicament. That's why you have correctly noted that the Malays themselves now wanted change but, I would like to add, probably unsure of what the outcome will be for them in the long run. The Malays do realize now that the UMNO system does not work well with them or the Country any more. Without doubt, everyone can now clearly feel the current ground swell of opposition to the UMNO government irrespective of race, but led by Malays! To say it bluntly, most Malaysians are no longer dumb politically nowadays.

With good reasons and better prospects for all Malaysians, a definite change of government can only be better, not worse off than now! Let us all be confident and continue to march towards CHANGE for the better! Regards.

Firstly let me tell you how much I enjoy your writing which is both inspiring and refreshing.

As for RPK, he's a Malaysian folk hero who will be remembered long after those who spite and incarcerated him will be forgotten and hopefully lingering in prison. He's inspired and energized many of us who would otherwise accept things as they were in the country, a rotten government who imprison our mind and body and steal us blind.

RPK is the embodiment of the reason why Ketuanan Melayu must be enforced and respected, Its about the raja-raja,Sultan and Agong recognition and rights, not so much as dominant ruling power but as check and balances. And its within their interest to protect their subjects. God did not raise these blood born leaders for no reason, and in times like this, they herald as a light in the midst of darkness.

To the Malay, Chinese, indian of Malaysia, you bangsa MALAYSIANS, protect the anak-anak raja! To the most respected Agong, your subjects looks up to you for you wisdom and justice!

Daulat Tuanku!

To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing, end them?

Ma Azam,

You should wonder more on why Malays think their Chinese bosses oppress and look down on them.

Like how they can be wonderful bosses themselves without oppressing others and looking down on them, and be a shining light to the Chinese.

You can start with Najib, Hisham and Ahmad Ismail with their crooked knife and squatting antics.

Your idea on outlawing intra-racial marriages need some more wondering.

Like how come some people feel so full of themselves to insist that others that inter marry with them must kowtow to them?

Half wonders are not as wonderful as you may think...

Dear Cheekhiaw,

That last bit was a piece of cynicism in reference to what happened in Indonesia. No, they did not force interacial marriages, but they did wipe out most references to Chinese identity.

I think that is just wrong.

But, light-heartedly, for some weird reason, most malay girls are enchanted by malay men who have, in their words a "chinese-look" When i ask them to just marry chinese men, they balk at the idea. Dunno la, i oso confused.

I do also agree with truthbespoken. Yes, we want change. Molly-coddled by UMNO? Maybe not, the only way most Malays have benefited from affirmative actions is via 5% discount on housing and education. Not all of us get tenders or contracts. But the mentality that we are the first (spliting hairs, orang asli etc first la but bear with me) still exists.

But it is not i whom you have to convince, but my rural brethren.

Ask them what they truly think of the state of things nowadays. Chedet got it right when he said it wasn't that they wanted to vote opposition, but that they had no other choice.

Let us consider this hypothetical situation: In an election without any BN component parties, only PKR, PAS and DAP participating. Who will the majority of Malays vote for?

The answer is obvious as are the consequences.

More must be done to engage the rural malays.

Dear Ma Azman,

Firstly, I am flattered with your agreeing with my comments on your posting.

However, I have to reiterate my stand that there is no denying that UMNO, in a large part, also through your beloved Chedet, have been the main culprit in ensuring rural Malay support over the years by encasing their thinking along the line that UMNO is THE government and it is the only party that can and will protect Malay rights and priveleges forever. The have been able to mesmerised, bluff their way through and instill the fear amongst the rural Malays that they will be in trouble if UMNO is not there for them. What fallacy! As the old saying goes, you can bluff some people some time but you cannot bluff all the people all the time.

Time is in fact the telling factor. The truth is now coming out even though it had taken 51 long years. The Malays are getting more savvy now and they realised that UMNO is not the ONLY Malay party that can be the government and perform the job of protecting them. They also realised that the UMNO government had done a lousy job at that! They also finally realised that only the UMNOputras are getting the cream of the country's wealth and they are only getting the crumps together with the other non-UMNOputras.

Hence, I must conclude that UMNO and Chedet did not have the vision to see what was actually good for the nation and have always be incorrect in their approach on how they should have helped the Malays in the long run. They should not have fed 'opium' to the Malays and make them feel weak so that they, UMNO, can continue to protect them eternally!

And in answer to the last line of your first posting on how to get rid of our racial sentiments 100%, I would suggest that we can start off with getting rid of the racist party UMNO first! If we are to convince our rural brethen, we must first change the UMNO government with its pepetual racist policies! Then, maybe, still not 100% but should be a very good start for a better Malaysia, for all Malaysians irrespective of race. We should start moving forward as one nation with a soul without further looking back all the time. We MUST move on from here..

Dr Azly Rahman,

That is a very touching piece of message to our Barisan Rayaat icon YM RPK - I salute you Dr Azly Rahman.

I would also like to extend my prayers to God Almighty for His Blessings, Protection & Guidance to YM RPK, Theresa & all the other ISA detainees including their families wherever they maybe.

As they say, “When the Going gets tough, the Tough gets going & God helps those that help themselves”.

God Almighty is Benevolent & Merciful...Insha’Allah, we shall overcome…..

Here’s one Divine Intervention -

Malaysiakini - Beh Lih Yi | Sep 14, 08 2:42pm - Quote - “Law minister threatens to quit over ISA….

De facto Law Minister Zaid Ibrahim today threatened to resign if the government continues to use the Internal Security Act, which allows detention without trial, against any individuals. ” Unquote.

“Devine Intervention” works wonders & with the “Anarchy” developing within their ranks of “Wannabe Younger UMNO Heroes” vs the “Righteous Leaders”, they are having their own “Enemies” from within !

PM & DPM have lost the “Plot” altogether & this “UMNO Anarchy” will be the “Mother of the BN Self-Desruct” mechanism in full action.

Just give them more rope to “Hang” themselves at every turn towards their “Demise” soon.

We have to be virgilant, stay UNITED, stay calm, have Faith in God Almighty for His Blessings, Protection & Guidance so that we will not fall into the BN “Chaos Trap”.

Ma Azman

If one cannot explain something as simple as common human behaviour it may indicate the lack of perseverance, intellect and/or honesty.

The Chinese has a saying 'To cut grass one must get rid of the roots'.

Perhaps it is not obvious to you but UMNO and people like Che Det is one of those 'roots'.

Perhaps you can help start engaging the rural Malays with that. I do.

Many of them are not as slow as you would like to make the unknowing believe...

The problem is there are not many people like Azly Rahman, Malik Imtiaz, Haris Ibrahim, Bakri Musa, RPK, Farish Noor around, and they are NOT doing enuf. These Malay intellectual/thinkers with vision have to do more, much more.Write in B.M, organise forum, go to grassroot to explain and educate the Malay masses.
Until then, there is no hope for the Bangsa Melayu, and no future for Malaysia.

Hi ma azman,

Two solutions available..

1) Find an auspicious day, all the non-Muslim in Malaysia convert to Islam enmass.
And then start to speak B.Melayu habitually, and adopt Malay custom.
After that, apply to the relevant authority to be classified as Bumi.
Macam ini : http://www.topnews.in/call-us-...ans-223862

Semua problem solved.
Federal Constitution states Malay is a person "who professes the Muslim religion, habitually speaks Malay and conforms to Malay custom".
Even if you consume alcohol, bet in 4-D, Toto, makan during fasting time, the 'authority' will not throw you out of the 'Bumi club'. Remember : Conversion to Islam is one-way-ticket.

2) Organise a movement, find funding and then all the non-muslim in Malaysia. Travel to USA, by ship, by air or anything, and arrive in New York at the same time. And then political asylum. Uncle Sam annoints himself as the champion of Human Rights. Every time UMNO Government take any in-human action, Uncle Sam would be the quickiest to condemm. Well, USA is a large country with some 250 people. Another 10m or so of non-Muslim from Malaysia should not be a problem.

Ma Azman,

I agree with what u wrote. Its true. Most rural folks voted because they have no choice. Most have been viewing just the mainstream media and u can't blame anyone not to believe that Umno was the main protector given such feeding of news.

All the other races need to understand one thing, you will need the malay to succeed if you want malaysia to succeed. That is beyond doubt. The statistic and population alone warrants this. Thus, help must always be offered to them and lift them up the right way, starting with the truth about their current self-acclaim protector. Enough giving these crumbs from the Putras table, carry each other burden and run the race.

Give PKR a chance, and make sure policies are created that will ensure all the races ends up helping each other up and not just "open tender" to the best, a round robin looks more like the correct approach. Japan did not become the top asian country overnight, someone gave them a chance, Edward Demming gave it the spark.

tong,

There's a cheaper 3rd option.

Organise a bunch of idiotic fanatics full of their own stupid beliefs to hijack a plane and crash it into a high rise in New York.

Then the Americans would come and bomb (for free) everything back to Stone Age which would befit some people and establish a new free and equal society for all.

You sound like the type to be part of the 1st bunch?

NEWS UPDATE: ZAID IBRAHIM CONFIRMS RESIGNATION AS DE FACTO LAW MINISTER

It is hard not to respect this guy… Zaid Ibrahim.

1. Zaid confirmed his resignation as de facto Law Minister as an act of personal conscience because he strongly objects to how the democratically-elected Malaysian government that is charged to abide by the rule of parliamentary law somehow blatantly misused/abused ISA against 3 Malaysians citizens – Teresa Kok (DAP Seputeh MP – still under ISA detention), Sin Chew reporter, Tan Hoon Cheng (released from ISA detention after 24 hours after a somewhat lame excuse given by Syed Hamid), and Raja Petra Kamaruddin (Malaysia Today blog editor still under ISA detention) just because the said 3 persons exercised their due rights of democratic expression as Wakil Rakyat/news reporter/blogger under the Malaysian constitution to voice out injustices and corruption of all kinds against the rakyat of Malaysia.

2. He previously maintained that ISA in Malaysia should have been more appropriately used on non-Malaysians, e.g. to counter external threats from foreign terrorists to the internal security of the nation.

3. He admitted that he “failed” because of his own “weakness” to overcome the “brick wall” in the UMNO-dominated cabinet led by Pak Lah.

I applaud him.
