It would be an honor to get such a comment from such distinguished Malaysian politicians.
My admiration is for Brian May's contribution to rock guitar and his academic depth as well. He is now a Vice Chancellor of a polytechnique in London after taking a break from music (at the pinnacle of his career) to complete his Ph.D in astrophysics.
My admiration is also for Freddy Mercury's vocal range and his contribution as well to "operatic rock". He is an Indian from India who grew up in Zanzibar and changed his name to Freddy to break into the British rock scene. Such transcultural experience is a good study of globalization.
My deep interest as well is in the study of the evolution of the rock guitar as a weapon of mass deconstruction ;-)
Keep up with your good work and fine writings as well. In a troubled world, for those about to rock, we salute them.
