The Fall of Singapore, (where I was born)
Below is a British-produced documentary on the "hunting down" of the Communists (and therefore "terrorists") in Malaya. The Internal Security Act was borne out of this military-political-historical context. I love the soundtrack, reminiscence of the movies "Dragnet" or even "Get Smart".

Learning from the Japanese fiasco, PDRM has ascertained that the bikers pose a threat to national security. They would rather catch cyclists than robbers.
During the Japanese occupation, the locals had to get off their bikes and walk whenever they encountered any Japanese on the road. Often at the end of those encounters, the locals would just continue walking anyway as the Japanese soldier would confiscate the bike. Told this by my grandparents.
Cycling is threat to national security. Holding a lighted candle is also a threat too especially if you happen to be in the presence of security personnel. Hell! I was a soldier for 25 years and I damn well know what is national security. PDRM should wake up!!!
